Where did you find the command to check the bed for shelter? I'm thinking the Settlement Mgmt software may be messing with me. That's how I'm able to remove the beds that won't scrap. I should also mention I'm using Scrap Everything, which lets me, well scrap everything. So I went to Outpost Zimonja and added 1 floor, and a roof, placed by place enywhere.Īdded a prefab room, with a bed. (1.The game does not like you putting anything that can be assigned over water. Added 1 back and that bed was flagged as not providing shelter. I added another bed in the same room, and that bed was flagged as not providing shelter. So that's why I thought it needed a closed door. I added 1 wall to snap a roof onto, and 1 roof. ![]() It was flagged for not providing shelter. I added a room over the house, above the second floor. I'm checking the beds using Settlement Software. When I add beds to the second floor, the first 2 are sheltered, and after that, they are not. You do not need to scrap/rebuild something for the game to recalculate it, picking it up and moving it has same effect. Settlers do not need to path to their beds to use them. Why do you keep figuring walls into sheltered? Only a roof matters.ĥ. Yes there is a console command for sheltered bed detection, that is what the mod uses.Ĥ.
